Gap Chile was set up by Claudio and Clare Duran, a Chilean-English couple living in England. Wanting to contribute back to Chile, they established a small nursery school in the serene town of La Calera where Claudio is from. The school’s mission is to give disadvantaged Chilean children a great start in life. Gap Chile offers enthusiastic individuals from all over the world the chance to volunteer at the school. In addition to the school, Clare and Claudio have reached out to various other organisations in La Calera and now offer a variety of opportunities for volunteers to get involved. If you are looking for a unique opportunity to volunteer with the flexibility of choosing how long you stay and what projects you contribute to, in one of the most diverse countries on this planet Gap Chile is definitely for you.
